Incumbent Steps Aside in Expansion Process

CUPERTINO, Calif., USA -- November 2, 2004- Tropian, Inc., a leader in developing multi mode Radio Frequency Integrated Circuits (RFIC) using its proprietary Polar Modulation techniques today announced that industry veteran Tim Unger has been selected to replace President and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Horen Chen.

Chen is leaving the company to pursue other interests and will remain with the company in a consulting capacity during a transition period. "Tropian is on the cusp of moving to the next level in its corporate evolution from private to public status," Chen stated. "At this juncture, the board and I have decided it is best to identify and entice someone with that kind of experience to take that step.
