As President and CEO of Tropian Mr. Unger is driving the Tropian strategy of creating revolutionary RF Transceiver technology. Prior to joining Tropian, Mr. Unger held executive leadership positions at Virtual Silicon Technology, U.S. Venture Partners and Cadence Design Systems. He currently serves on the boards of Cydelity and Monterey Design Systems and is an advisor to Skybox Security. Mr. Unger is Founder and Managing Principal of Professional Services Firms -- OnTrack Advisors as well as Consulting in Human Capital -- and graduated from the Pennsylvania State University.
Earl W. McCune
Earl W. McCune, Jr., PhD

Founder, Chief Technical Officer and Vice President of Engineering
As CTO of Tropian, Dr. McCune is responsible for overseeing the development of new products for wireless communications systems based on Tropian's patented advances in radio frequency technology. His breakthrough doctoral work in modulation theory is a continuation of his long record of creative approaches to radio communications, and led to his development of Tropian's core technologies. Prior to founding Tropian, Dr. McCune held founding and technical leadership positions at The Digital RF Solutions Corp, NASA Ames Research Center, Siliconix, Hewlett-Packard, Watkins-Johnson and Cushman Electronics. Dr. McCune is a reviewer for IEEE Journal of Solid State Circuits (JSSC) and Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques (T-MTT), and serves on the technical program committees for the IEEE Custom Integrated Circuits Conference (CICC) and Radio and Wireless Conference (RAWCON). Dr. McCune received a BS/EECS degree from the University of California, Berkeley; a MSEE degree in Radio Science from Stanford University; and a Ph.D. from the University of California, Davis.
Adrian Woolley Adrian Woolley
Vice President of Marketing and Sales
As Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Tropian Inc., Mr. Woolley is responsible for Tropian's overall business strategy, product strategy, business development and marketing activity as well as for Tropian's highly-focused world wide sales strategy. Prior to joining Tropian, Mr. Woolley held a variety of key marketing and sales leadership positions at National Semiconductor. Mr. Woolley graduated from the University of Essex, UK with a BSc ( Honors )in Electronics and Semiconductors.
Gary Do Gary Do, PhD
Vice President of IC and Systems Engineering
As Vice President of IC and Systems Engineering for Tropian Inc., Dr. Do is responsible for all aspects of Tropian's Integrated Circuit development.Prior to joining Tropian in 2000, Dr. Do held key engineering positions at TRW and Agilent Technologies. He received a Bachelor's degree from the University of California, San Diego, a Master's degree from the University of Southern California, and a Ph.D. from the University of California, Davis.
Davis Gilmer Davis Gilmer
Counsel
As Counsel, Mr. Gilmer is responsible for coordinating the overall legal activities of Tropian, including overseeing the intellectual property efforts. Prior to joining Tropian, Mr. Gilmer was an attorney in private practice for several top-tier law firms, where his emphasis was in intellectual property issues, including procurement, enforcement, due diligence, and licensing issues. Mr. Gilmer earned both a BSEE and a BA (dual majors in Mathematical Science and Managerial Studies) from Rice University in Houston, Texas. After working as design engineer for a number of years, Mr. Gilmer received his law degree from the University of Houston. Mr. Gilmer is licensed to practice law in California and Texas, and is also registered to practice in the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
