Tim Unger - President and CEO, Tropian, Inc.
As President and CEO of Tropian Mr. Unger is driving the Tropian strategy of creating revolutionary RF Transceiver technology. Prior to joining Tropian, Mr. Unger held executive leadership positions at Virtual Silicon Technology, U.S. Venture Partners and Cadence Design Systems. He currently serves on the boards of Cydelity and Monterey Design Systems and is an advisor to Skybox Security. Mr. Unger is Founder and Managing Principal of Professional Services Firms -- OnTrack Advisors as well as Consulting in Human Capital -- and graduated from the Pennsylvania State University.
Robert F. Berner
Robert Berner serves as Senior Vice President and CTO for Rogers AT&T Wireless and has led the evolution, planning, engineering, deployment and operation of Rogers AT&T Wireless's national cellular, PCS, paging and mobile data networks. A 20-year Canadian wireless industry veteran, Mr. Berner has held a variety of senior management positions at Rogers, Canada's largest wireless service provider, as well as at Bell Canada. Mr. Berner graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Engineering, specializing in Operational Research and Management Science. He is a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) and is affiliated with the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario (APEO).
Bob Hoff - General Partner, Crosspoint Ventures
Bob Hoff is a General Partner with Crosspoint Venture Partners. In 1983, Mr. Hoff established the Southern California office for Crosspoint, and since that time has been involved as first round investor and Board member in a number of successful public companies, including PairGain Technologies, Efficient Networks, U.S. Web, and Com21. Prior to that, Mr. Hoff help leadership positions at Marwit Capital Corporation, a Small Business Investment Company (SBIC) and General Electric Company. He is a graduate of Bucknell University, and holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Graduate School of Business.
Terry Holdt
Terry Holdt served as President, CEO and a Director of S3 Inc. from January 1992 until his retirement in August 1996, and has remained active at S3 since 1996 as Vice Chairman of the Board. Mr. Holt is a veteran with 32 years experience in the semiconductor industry, having previously served in executive positions with a number of companies, including Western Digital, Linear Corporation and Paradigm. Mr. Holt also serves on the Boards of Directors of a number of technology companies: S3, Inc., Maxoptix Corp., and SenDEC, Inc. He holds a BSEE and MSEE from the University of Illinois.
Russ Irwin - Founder & General Partner, Convergence Partners
As Founder and General Partner of Convergence Partners, Russ Irwin focuses on investments in communications services, equipment and components. Prior to Convergence Partners, Mr. Irwin has been an entrepreneur, line manager and senior executive at various high technology companies including NEC USA, Apple Computer, Plexus Computers, and Pacific Innovations. Mr. Irwin earned his BS degree at the University of California at Berkeley and his MBA at San Jose State University.
Rod Nelson - Chief Technical Officer, AT&T Wireless
In addition to serving as CTO for AT&T Wireless, Nelson leads its Product and Technology Development Group and is responsible for defining the company’s future wireless direction. Until it’s acquisition by AT&T Wireless, Mr. Nelson held key positions at McCaw Cellular and is active in the national and international forums that develop the global standards upon which future wireless networks will be based. He received his BS Electrical Engineering Degree from the University of Minnesota.
Andrew F. Nevin
Andrew Nevin is a Principal in Merrill Lynch Global Private Equity ("MLGPE"), a diversified private equity initiative at Merrill Lynch & Co. At MLGPE, Mr. Nevin works with other generalists in reviewing and investing in a variety of private equity opportunities. Mr. Nevin has worked with numerous early, mid and late stage businesses within the MLGPE portfolio, including businesses within the software, semiconductor, communications and general industrial sectors. Prior to joining MLGPE in 1999, Mr. Nevin was an investment banker within Merrill Lynch & Co.'s Corporate Finance group in New York, focusing on the consumer packaged goods industry. Mr. Nevin has a BA in Economics from Williams College.

Cameron Coursey - Director of Network Development, Cingular Wireless
Cameron Coursey is Director of Network Development at Cingular Wireless (a joint venture of SBC and BellSouth) where he leads the implementation of GSM/TDMA interoperability. Mr. Coursey is vice chair of the GSM Global Roaming Forum (GGRF) and co-chair of the GSM/ANSI-136 Interoperability Team (GAIT). He is the author of the technical book "Understanding Digital PCS: The TDMA Standard", Artech House, 1999. Mr. Coursey received his BSEE and his MSEE from the University of Missori-Rolla.
